About the role
We are looking for someone who builds automation that still works after handover, not only during a demo. Here that means describing the process before automating it, running it on the client’s own infrastructure and leaving the team the means to change the rules without us.
You work on processes that somebody handles by hand today: invoice workflow, assigning enquiries to sales people, compiling reports from several sources, employee document workflow.
What you will be doing
- Mapping the process as it actually runs, not as the written procedure describes it
- Building workflows in n8n that run on the client’s servers
- Integrations with CRM, warehouse and accounting systems, email and spreadsheets
- Designing error handling: queues, retries, thresholds, an alert to a named person
- A fallback mode, meaning a return to manual handling without losing the data from the downtime
- Documentation for every workflow: what it does, what it depends on and who to wake when it stops
- Passing on to the client’s team the knowledge needed to change the rules without our involvement
What we expect
- Practical experience building integrations between systems, whatever the tool
- Knowledge of n8n, Make or a similar environment, plus the ability to write your own functions
- Confidence with REST APIs, webhooks, queues and authentication
- The ability to read the documentation of a system you have never worked with before
- Basic administration: running a service on the client’s server, logs, monitoring
- Polish at C2, English good enough to read technical documentation
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP systems used in Poland
- SQL good enough to check data on the client’s side yourself
- Working with the client directly, without a project manager in between
