Let us talk about the processes in your company

In 30 minutes we put a chosen process or area of work in order: its stages, data, exceptions and the people responsible. On that basis we point to a sensible place to start. If the company needs a larger implementation, we arrange the remaining processes into a plan for the work ahead.

Free consultation

The call is run by the person who later takes responsibility for the analysis and the implementation.

A space set up for a conversation about company processes
  • 01

    30 minutes

That is what we set aside for the first call and for putting the key information in order.

  • 02

    Starting point

We point to the process, or the part of a process, worth analysing first.

  • 03

    1 working day

That is how long we take to answer an enquiry and propose a time for the call.

01Outcome

What you get

After the call you receive a summary of what was agreed, a recommended starting point and a list of the information needed to define the scope of work.

Recommended scope

  • the process, or the part of a process, worth starting with
  • the reasoning behind that order and how the result would be measured
  • the people who should take part in the analysis that follows
  • further processes, if the subject calls for a wider programme of change

Data for further assessment

  • sample documents or requests that pass through the process
  • the number of cases and the time spent handling them today
  • systems, data sources and the people who manage access
  • exceptions that require a human decision

The summary stays with your company. You can use it in a further conversation with us or with another supplier.

02Format

How the call runs

From a short description of the situation to a starting point and the data still missing.

  1. Stage 1

    Booking a time

You leave your name, phone number and one sentence about the process you want to discuss. We propose a time.

    Response timeOne working day.

  2. Stage 2

    Describing the process

You tell us who runs the process today, how many cases pass through it in a month and where the work stalls.

Who runs the callThe person responsible for the project, not a salesperson.

  3. Stage 3

    Questions and assessment

We ask about data, systems and unusual cases. During the call we say which parts of the process we do not recommend automating.

DurationThe whole call fits into 30 minutes.

  4. Stage 4

    Summary by email

We write up what was agreed and send it to your address. You decide on the next step in your own time, once you have read it.

No obligationThe summary stays with you even if we do not end up working together.

03Fit

Who this call suits

We check the conditions before agreeing a time. If the call would settle nothing on your side, we will say so plainly.

The call makes sense when

  • a task recurs in the company and passes through several people or systems
  • you can name the person who runs that process day to day
  • you decide on the budget or have direct access to the person who does
  • you can show how the process works today, even on a single example

The call will not help when

  • you need a presentation on AI trends for the board
  • you have a finished specification and are collecting comparable quotes for it
  • price alone decides which supplier you choose
  • nobody in the company can describe how the process runs or show a sample case
04Preparation

How to prepare

You need no document and no written-up process. It is enough to gather three groups of information before the call.

  • Scope

A process or area of work

    • one task that shows clearly how the work is done today
    • the point where the process slows down or needs manual re-keying
    • the expected result that somebody checks today
  • Scale

    Case volume and people

    • a rough number of cases per month, with no exact calculations
    • the roles that take part in it
    • what happens when a case is unusual
  • Tools

    Systems and data

    • the applications the team works in
    • where documents and files are kept
    • who in the company manages access rights

If you do not know one of these points yet, book the call anyway. We will establish the missing details during it.

05Questions

Common questions

Answers on commitment, budget, confidentiality and the road from a call to an implementation.

No. After the call you receive a summary of the processes and decide yourself what to do with it. If you do not come back to us once you have it, we close the matter on our side.

The form needs only your name, phone number and one sentence about the process. We settle the rest during the call.

What to put in the message

  • the name of the process or department involved
  • a rough number of cases per month, if you know it
  • the systems the team works in

What we do not need at this stage

  • customer data or the contents of documents
  • access to your company systems
  • a specification or an approved budget

We reply within one working day and propose a time. If your description suggests the call would settle nothing, we will say so instead of booking a meeting.
